There’s a point in the day, as the sun is setting, where the lighting is absolute magic.
Stand in front or behind a camera a couple of times and you’ll understand the importance of lighting; or more specifically, how difficult it can be to find that “perfect” light. Too harsh and bright is a problem, as is too dark. Shining into the camera can be an issue, and shining directly on a person can mean squinted eyes – also not good. It’s a constant struggle. But at one point during the day, when the sun is about to go down for the night, the lighting is EVERYTHING. The world literally looks like it’s washed in a glow and it’s magic.
