On an overly warm day, nothing feels better than a light and airy top.
Airy Light Tops
For all my complaints about the weather, it did a complete turn around this weekend. The temperatures soared into the 90s and the sun was shining. While it was a bit warm, IT WAS GLORIOUS. I spent all day Saturday outside in the breeziest maxi dress, strolling through an art fair and drinking all kinds of beverages (which you may have seen on instastories). Unfortunately, there are occasions when that lovely breezy maxi dress just won’t cut it; which is when I pull out my collection of airy tops.
This top is paper thin; so much so, that even the slightest gust of wind will pass right through it. The black color means that even after a few hours, it still looks pretty much perfect. The ruffles are a favorite of mine. From a distance, you can barely make out the ruffles that cover the front of this top, but up close you can really see how special this shirt really is. And when a breeze passes by, my shirt literally dances.
On another note, I’m in love with these sandals. I got them a few months back and debated keeping them. At the time, it was still boot weather but I knew that I would miss them come summer if I returned them. The heel is not too high so I can still walk in them, and with the multi toned leather – they match everything. They also come in a nude tones version. Don’t mind my feet, they are still recovering from too long spent in uncomfortable shoes, they need a spa day.
