Sometimes there’s just an iconic spot that’s too good to pass up.
Under The Bridge
If you run a search for images of the Manhattan Bridge or DUMBO, your bound to find tons of images just like these. Head to the corner of Water St and Washington St and it’s quite literally chock full of people grabbing photos of the iconic Manhattan Bridge. You get these plans in your head about getting the perfect shot in an awesome location, and then you get there and dreams get shattered. It’s nearly impossible to get a picture without getting someone else in the background unless you get there at the crack of dawn. And if you do happen to get a clear street for a moment, then you’re dodging cars that are driving down the block.
Destroyed photo dreams aside, this top solves all my weather problems. I’ll start by pointing out that this is in fact a dress – not a top; however, I decided it looked perfect with jeans. The sheer sleeves were what convinced me to buy it. These chiffon sleeves are cool enough for late Spring by block enough wind to keep me comfortable when the weather fluctuates. Basically it’s a favorite for cooler afternoons and evenings right now. Plus who could turn down a perfectly placed ruffle?
And see, awkward person chilling in the background, bizarrely creeping in the picture.
